Omar Cooper Jr.: high ankle sprain, at least three games

THE FACT. The Jets rookie wide receiver suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 1 and is expected to miss at least three games, per Sports Illustrated's Monday injury report. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that Cooper's X-rays came back negative and that he underwent an MRI on the ankle.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: drop him in 10-team leagues, and stash him on IR anywhere you have the slot. Dynasty: hold, a Week 1 ankle for a first-round rookie is not a value reset. High ankle sprains that cost three games usually cost a fourth week of efficiency after that, so do not pencil him in before Week 6. DFS: fade the Jets passing game until the target tree settles.
