Jalen Carter: will wear wrist cast against Titans Sunday

THE FACT. Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter will play Sunday against the Titans wearing a protective cast on his right wrist, per Pro Football Talk on Friday morning. Carter hurt the wrist late in last Sunday's win over Washington, sat out Wednesday's practice, then returned as a full participant Thursday with the cast on.

THE VERDICT. He is playing, and that is the whole story. IDP: start him as usual, no downgrade worth acting on. The cast earns a small mental discount, since hand use matters for an interior lineman working off blockers, and it could cost him a tackle or a pressure. It is not close to a reason to bench him.
