THE FACT. Jahmyr Gibbs carried 29 times for 116 yards and caught five passes for 27 yards in Detroit's 20-17 win over Green Bay on Sunday, per Pro Football Talk and Field Level Media. He also lost a fumble. The Lions won on Jake Bates' 22-yard field goal as time expired, and Jared Goff threw for 303 yards with two touchdowns to Jameson Williams.

THE VERDICT. Twenty-nine carries plus five targets is a workload that settles any lingering questions about how Detroit wants to use him. Redraft: start him as a every-week RB1 and stop reading committee takes. Dynasty: this is exactly the usage you paid up for. DFS: he is a cash-game anchor in any Lions game with a tight projected script. The lost fumble is noise unless it repeats.

Twenty-nine carries settling the usage question is the piece I'd flip around. He had 29 in the opener against New Orleans too, and Campbell said right after that one he has no interest in setting carry records and would keep managing the load. So it's the same script, not new information. The DFS line is where I really split from you. Thirty-four touches, 4.0 a carry, 143 scrimmage yards, no touchdown and a fumble. That's his floor game at a max price. Give me him in GPPs off the dud, not as a cash anchor.
