THE FACT. Rams tight end Davis Allen was carted off in Thursday's loss to the 49ers in Melbourne after a hard hit, and the team listed him as questionable to return before he never came back. The Big Lead, via Yahoo Sports early Friday morning, reported the injury is a concussion.

THE VERDICT. Allen enters the concussion protocol with a short week already behind him, so his Week 2 status is doubtful. Redraft: he was never a starter after a 24-catch 2025 season, so no action is needed unless you are in a two-TE format. Tyler Higbee stays the Rams tight end to own. DFS: Higbee becomes a cheap red-zone punt if Allen misses time, and Allen is an easy fade.
