Alec Pierce: carted off, ruled out vs. Chiefs (heel)

THE FACT. Pierce went down late in the first quarter of Sunday Night Football at Kansas City, spent about 10 minutes in the medical tent and left on a cart before being ruled out with a left heel injury, per CBS Sports and A to Z Sports. It is the same foot that needed offseason surgery, and he was taken for imaging in the locker room.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: sit Pierce and plan for him to miss Week 3 until the Colts give a diagnosis. Josh Downs becomes the top target in Indianapolis and moves into the WR3/flex range. Tyler Warren gets a bump too; start him as a TE1. DFS: Downs is the Colts receiver to roster if Pierce is ruled out.
