Zay Flowers: limited in practice Wednesday (hamstring)

THE FACT. Ravens receiver Zay Flowers was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, September 9, with a hamstring issue after a long summer absence, according to NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk. Flowers did early work with a trainer, got through position drills, and said he felt fine, adding that moving up to full participation in the next couple of days would be another good sign for Sunday's opener against Indianapolis. Defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), linebacker Teddye Buchanan (knee) and receiver Devontez Walker (groin) were also limited.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: Flowers is trending toward playing, but a hamstring that kept him out for weeks is exactly the kind of injury that gets a receiver pulled early, so treat him as a WR2 with downside and watch Friday's designation before locking him in. If he is limited again Thursday, downgrade him to a flex and have a bench receiver ready. DFS: fade him in cash and use him only as a cheap tournament pivot. IDP: Madubuike and Buchanan are both coming off season-ending injuries; keep Madubuike on the bench in DT-required formats until he gets a full session.
