Panthers: Bobby Brown III out, Pat Jones II questionable

THE FACT. Carolina ruled out defensive tackle Bobby Brown III with a back injury for Sunday's game against Atlanta after he sat out all three practices this week, according to the team's official Friday injury report written by Darin Gantt on Panthers.com. Outside linebacker Patrick Jones II, limited on all three days with a back issue of his own, was given a questionable tag.
THE VERDICT. IDP: Brown comes off your lineup card this week, and Jones is too shaky to hold a starting spot. Carolina's interior gets thin without Brown, and head coach Dave Canales spoke Friday about leaning on second-year tackle Cam Jackson for his size and pass-rush push, which makes Jackson a deep-league IDP dart in tackle-heavy scoring only. Redraft: nudge Atlanta's ground game up a half tier against a Panthers front missing a starting tackle.
