Myles Garrett: full practice, no designation for Thursday in Melbourne

Rams edge rusher Myles Garrett was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's final injury report, September 9, and carries no game designation for Thursday night's opener against the 49ers in Melbourne, according to the Rams' official injury report and NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk. Garrett had dealt with knee swelling in the preseason. Aaron Donald is the only Rams player ruled out, listed as a rest decision. For San Francisco, defensive tackle Alfred Collins (knee) is out and James Thompson (hamstring) is questionable, while Nick Bosa and George Kittle have no designation.

THE VERDICT. IDP: Start Garrett as a DL1 with no hesitation; the knee is a non-issue and he draws a 49ers line that lost Collins inside.
