Kerby Joseph: ruled out Sunday against Minnesota (knee)

THE FACT. Detroit ruled safety Kerby Joseph out of Sunday's game against Minnesota with a knee injury on Friday's injury report, relayed by Yahoo Sports and NBC Sports' Rotoworld. Coach Dan Campbell said Joseph has been held to individual and group work so far and should move to full practice next week.

THE VERDICT. That is the best news the 6-0 Vikings got all week. Redraft: upgrade the Minnesota passing game with Detroit down a starting safety, and keep the Lions defense off your streaming shortlist. IDP: Joseph is out, so slot a different safety rather than eating a zero. DFS: Minnesota's pass-catchers are live in this spot and the Detroit team defense is a fade. Dynasty: no alarm, with Detroit already pointing at a return after this week.
