Kerby Joseph: Lions open 21-day return window (knee)

THE FACT. The Lions opened safety Kerby Joseph's 21-day window to return from the physically unable to perform list Wednesday, with head coach Dan Campbell announcing it at his press conference as Joseph returned to practice, per NBC Sports. Campbell said Joseph has "passed every test to this point" but that "we've still got a ways to go," and Joseph is not expected to play Sunday against Minnesota.
THE VERDICT. This is a practice return, not a game return, so do not stream him in IDP this week. Joseph was a first-team All-Pro in 2024 with a league-leading nine interceptions, which makes him a priority add in IDP leagues that have stash or IR spots now that the clock is running. Target an activation around Detroit's next two games rather than this Sunday, and hold instead of starting until the Lions commit to a workload. No redraft value in standard scoring.
