Jeremiyah Love: limited Wednesday (ankle), Cardinals optimistic for Sunday

THE FACT. Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, the third overall pick, was limited in Wednesday's practice, September 9, as he works back from the ankle sprain he suffered in the August 13 preseason game against Las Vegas, per Arizona's Family and RotoWire. Head coach Mike LaFleur said the team feels good about where Love is and will decide on Sunday's role against the Chargers after watching how he moves this week. Edge rusher Josh Sweat sat out for rest and knee maintenance but is expected to play without restriction.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: Love is a start as an RB2 if he logs a full practice by Friday; if he stays limited, expect a rotation in his debut and bump him down to flex range. Emari Demercado is the handcuff and a fine speculative add in deeper leagues, especially with Love's touch count uncertain. Dynasty: nothing here moves the needle, hold. DFS: the price is attractive but the workload is not, so fade him in cash games this week. IDP: Sweat is a full go and remains a DL1 against a Chargers line that struggled in the preseason.
