Jahmyr Gibbs: checked out after awkward late slide

THE FACT. Jahmyr Gibbs came down awkwardly on his left leg as he slid short of the end zone to drain the clock in Detroit's 20-17 win over Green Bay on Sunday, and coach Dan Campbell said afterward that Gibbs had been checked and should be good, per Sports Illustrated's Lions coverage. Gibbs carried 29 times for 116 yards and caught five passes for 27 more in the win, according to the Lions' own game recap.
THE VERDICT. Redraft: start him. A 29-carry afternoon on a team that won on a walk-off field goal is the opposite of a usage concern. Dynasty: hold, nothing about this changes his value. DFS: he stays in the top tier of running back plays. The only thing worth tracking is Wednesday's practice report, and a limited tag would be reason to shade down slightly, not to bench him.
