Falcons: Stefanski has not named a Week 2 starter

Cooper Rush, who started Week 1, is being treated for a back issue, Tua Tagovailoa will not practice Wednesday with an oblique injury, and Michael Penix Jr. is cleared for full work but says he is not all the way back from his torn ACL.

THE VERDICT. Redraft: leave every Atlanta quarterback on your bench in one-QB leagues until the job is announced, and treat Rush as a desperation bye-week fill-in only. Dynasty: this is a Penix story, not a Rush story, and a healthy Penix is still the long-term asset to hold. DFS: fade the Atlanta passing game at full price this week, since an unnamed starter on a short practice week is how you buy variance you do not need. Downgrade the Falcons pass catchers modestly rather than benching them, because the target volume holds even if the efficiency does not.
