THE FACT. Detroit listed safety Brian Branch as a full participant on Wednesday's Week 7 injury report as he works back from the torn Achilles he suffered in December 2025, per CBS Sports and Yahoo Sports. Both outlets noted the Lions did not hold a practice Wednesday coming out of their Week 6 bye, so the designation is an estimate of what Branch could have done rather than work anyone observed.

THE VERDICT. An estimated full participation is a genuinely good sign on an Achilles recovery, but it is not the same as a player taking live reps. IDP: move him back toward your starting lineup for the Green Bay game if a later report holds the full designation, and do not lock him in on the estimate alone.
