THE FACT. Colts receiver Alec Pierce was a limited participant for a second straight day on Thursday because of a heel injury, per Pro Football Talk's practice-report item on Thursday, September 10. The report says he remains in line for a significant role Sunday against the Ravens as he works back from offseason ankle surgery. Indianapolis upgraded S AJ Haulcy (ankle), TE Drew Ogletree (neck), C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger (illness) and backup QB Anthony Richardson (illness) to full, while DT Grover Stewart sat out for rest.

THE VERDICT. Two limited days plus an expected-to-play read from the beat is good enough to plan on Pierce being active, but the heel caps his ceiling in a deep-ball role that depends on burst. Redraft: he is a WR3 or flex in three-receiver formats, and a bench if you have a healthy alternative. DFS: fade in cash, tolerate as a cheap tournament dart if Friday shows full. Dynasty: hold, nothing changes here. Watch Friday's designation before locking him in.
