After spending some considerable hours looking at and evaluating the prospects in April's 2013 NFL Draft, below is Down at the One's draft board with the top 60 prospects ranked accordingly. Whether NFL teams are of similar thinking with their draft boards remains to be seen but I assure you comprehensive analysis has gone into every player in our rankings.
I’m sure by now you’ll have heard ad infinitum that this draft is deep with talented defensive lineman; that can be seen here with 15 of the top 50 prospects coming from the defensive line. Moreover, with 11 offensive lineman in our rankings, just over a quarter of the top 60 prospects come from the trenches.
In terms of quarterback talent in this draft, we only have two quarterbacks worthy of first round selection on our big board; it’ll be interesting to see how that pairs up with what happens come draft time. A lot of quarterback needy teams could push the likes of Matt Barkley and Mike Glennon up the board. With Eddie Lacy the only running back in our top 50 it’s likely the bulk of running backs will be mid-round selections.
All in all our draft board features 26 offensive players and 34 defensive players; this is the year to shore up a leaky defense. Enjoy:AJ Young
